Dr. Cindy Ryan is a pastor, wife, mother, grandmother (Mimosa) and breast cancer survivor. Her passion is connecting people to God through writing, speaking and ministry.
Cindy Ryan graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Psychology degree. She has a Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Brite Divinity School at TCU. She was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 1987.
Dr. Ryan has served on the pastoral staff in small, medium and large sized churches in Texas. She has been a Hospice and a Hospital Chaplain.
She is married to Dr. Robin Ryan, Superintendent of Grapevine Colleyville ISD, They are the proud parents of three adult children, a daughter, Daryl and two sons, Reed and Graham. To their grandsons, Keller, Pace and River they are Coach and Mimosa.
Dr. Ryan enjoys writing her blog and speaking to women’s groups, churches and other organizations. She is a co-founder of Connect, an organization committed to serving the economically disadvantaged students of Grapevine Colleyville ISD by connecting them with community resources.
