Since the fall of 2019, I’ve been honored to occasionally host a new venture from the Jesus Calling team out of Nashville. The Jesus Calling Weekly Prayer Call was designed to connect Jesus Calling readers from all over the nation in a weekly 15-minute conference call to hear that day’s devotional and scriptures; hear a few words about the devotional from assorted guest hosts and to pray together for prayer requests  submitted through the week. 

Week by week the call has grown and most especially in the number of people who listen to the Prayer Call recording afterwards. During this time of worldwide crisis, the words of Jesus Calling are more applicable and helpful than ever and it is the desire of the Jesus Calling team to publicize this even more and allow their readers to connect in prayer and God’s Word during this difficult time.

Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020 I will be the ongoing weekly co-host of this event. I am looking forward to being able to offer a weekly word of God’s hope and peace to readers across the nation. I hope you will join me in letting others know about this and in calling in on Tuesday mornings at 7-7:15 a.m. central time or in sharing the recorded call on Facebook. I’m both humbled and honored and grateful to be able to serve in this way at this critical time.
